Norah Studio for iPhone
Every song, anywhere.

Tap and play.
Getting started
Choose a song.
Hear it in a second and a half.
Norah Studio separates the song on the iPhone itself. The first seconds play almost at once, and the rest arrives while you listen, even if you leave the app.

Open a song
- Tap Open audio.
- Choose a file in Files, iCloud Drive or a shared folder. Tap ⓘ to see where songs can come from.
- The first time, a short tour shows the desk on the song itself. Skip it whenever you like.
Measured in October 2026 on an iPhone 16, on a song of 2 min 18 s.
Every part, alone.
Three lanes
The desk, folded.
Three lanes stand upright.
The whole song runs across the top; the three lanes run down the screen with the chords beside them. The song moves with your finger.

Mute
Tap M on a lane.
Solo
Hold a lane's icon until its chip shows S.
Choose
Tap an icon to choose the lane. Effects follow the lane you chose.
Round and round.
Bars and sections
Learn it
four bars at a time.
The transport sits under the lanes: play, loop, In, Out and the loop length in bars.
Make a loop
- Tap In where the passage starts.
- Set its length with − and +: 1, 2, 4, 8 bars and up.
- Tap the loop button to leave it repeating.
- Drag the lanes to move through the song: it follows your finger and scratches while it plays.
Your own speed.
Tempo and key
Your tempo.
Your key.
Open the Tempo panel. Slide the tempo without changing the key, or the key without changing the tempo. The song's own tempo, key and meter are written underneath.

Stack the effects.
Effects
Effects that follow
the lane you choose.
Open Effects and tap Add effect. Swipe between the stack and each card. In the stack, effects line up like pedals: drag one to set its mix, and the last pedal always adds another.

The melody, replayed.
Melody Synth
Hear the melody.
On another instrument.
Melody Synth plays the vocal melody with one of 19 sounds: synth leads, a grand piano, an electric guitar, a trumpet, music boxes, an accordion and a harmonica. Lower Mix to keep the singer under it.

Take it home.
Export
Stems and MIDI.
Straight to Files.
Tap the export button at the top. Each stem leaves with its effects printed in, and the melody leaves as MIDI. Every lane in the Mix panel has its own export button too.
Named for you
The file name says the song, the track and what you changed.
Proportionate
Lossy in, lossy out. A lossless song exports lossless.

Nothing leaves your device.
No account, no server, no analytics. The models that take the song apart travel inside the app and run on your own chip. The App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected. Read the Privacy Policy.

Questions
Short answers.
Which iPhone do I need?
An iPhone on iOS 26 or later. Newer iPhones separate faster; long songs need more memory.
Which songs can I open?
Any audio file you already have that the system decodes: MP3, M4A and AAC, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, CAF and more, up to ten minutes. Norah Studio cannot open songs from streaming services: their files are locked to their own apps.
How good is the separation?
Good enough to learn a part, build a backing track or pull a drum loop. No separation is perfect: on a dense mix a little of the voice can stay in the instrumental.
Are the tempo, key and chords exact?
They are estimates, and the app labels them so. They are good enough to loop by bars and play along.
Does it need the internet?
No. The models are inside the app, so the first song works in airplane mode.
